Snow Coach Tours – Join Nova Guides for an experience you’ll never forget! Climb to 12,500 feet in warmth and comfort on a Nova Guides Snow Coach tour. Our 13-passenger Snow Coach is the perfect way for your family to discover historic Camp Hale and the majestic scenery of the White River National Forest, with epic views of the Continental Divide and four surrounding mountain ranges. Morning and mid-day tours include a hot lunch at McAllister’s Grill; all tours include complimentary door-to-door transportation. Bring your camera because you’ll want to bring these memories home!

Snowmobile Tours and Rentals – Offering unguided rentals and guided tours, Nova Guides operates under permits within the White River National Forest and has the largest commercial trail system in the area (over 55,000 acres). Start at Camp Hale and climb to 12,500 feet in elevation with incredible 360-degree panoramic views including 4 mountain ranges and the Continental Divide. Nova’s large fleet has new 2021 Ski Doo snowmobiles; you can trust that you are in good hands with top-of-the-line equipment and certified backcountry guides.

Take your breath away on a 12,000 ft jeep tour, wrangle a trophy trout, mosey through wildflowers, learn how to be Robin Hood and at the end of the day relax in a luxury cabin.

Archery – Nova Guides is offering archery instruction and target practice at historic Camp Hale. This activity includes 30 minutes of instruction using a recurve bow and metal tipped arrows. You will learn to set the bow, aim, and shoot, with safety being a major focus of this activity. After initial instruction, guides will focus on improving your accuracy. Included for this activity are four stations with traditional bulls-eye targets, recurve bow, metal-tipped arrows, and a professional guide.

Cabin Rentals – Spend your vacation in the heart of the Rocky Mountains at Pando Cabins located at historic Camp Hale. Only 15 miles from Vail and Beaver Creek, and just 10 minutes from Ski Cooper, these luxury log cabins all contain 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, a full kitchen, fireplace, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and an outdoor grill. The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed; the second bedroom has a full-size bed. All living rooms have sleeper sofas or wraparound couches, allowing total sleeping accommodations for six. Pets welcome and restaurant onsite.

ATV Tours and Rentals – Explore the White River National Forest and historic Camp Hale on your own four-wheel-drive ATV or Side-By-Side. Climb to the Continental Divide on trails that wind through high alpine meadows, filled with dazzling wildflowers, and spectacular views of Colorado’s highest peaks. 16 years or older can drive their own machine with an adult present. We offer the most exciting all-terrain adventures in the Vail Valley with incredible 360-degree panoramic views. Guided tours include helmet, lunch or snack, and raingear.

Fishing – Enjoy a day on our Private Lake stocked with Trophy Trout and nestled in the spectacular Pando Valley at Camp Hale. Catch the “Colorado Grand Slam” of 4 trout species: Rainbow, Brown, Brook, and Cutthroat. Nova Guides’ Lake always has fish when the rivers are blown out, too warm, or too high to fish. We provide all necessary equipment, including fly-fishing rods, flies, & professional guides. Find comfort in our Camp Hale Lodge and restaurant only steps from the lake; lunch is included with morning trips.

Jeep Tours – Experience the magnificent Rocky Mountains in varied locations within the White River National Forest on a scenic Nova Guides Jeep Tour. Our knowledgeable guides will take you to elevation heights of 12,000 ft in open-air Jeeps. You can also discover historic Camp Hale, the former training grounds of the famed 10th Mountain Division. With photo opportunities of ghost towns, old mining claims, the biggest peaks in Colorado, and wildlife ranging from beavers to moose and all sizes in between, we’ll hope to meet and exceed your expectations.
